Old Hamptonians 8-a-side tournament, Middlesex

Old Hamptonians Association Cricket Club is delighted to announce the first annual star-studded Lashings eight-a-side tournament at their ground on Sunday, July 27, starting from 9am.

This is a chance to play, watch or lunch with a dozen Test cricketers on Hampton's ground.

Regular Lashings players include Richie Richardson, Chris Cairns, Jimmy Adams, Gordon Greenidge, Phil Defreitas, Devon Malcolm, Marvan Atapattu, Henry Olonga and Adam Hollioake to name but a few.

There are many ways you can be involved.

First, as a player. We have been auctioning off teams and individual slots for the privilege of playing in an 8-a-side team that will each consist of 2 Lashings players. A couple of slots remain.

Second, buying seats at the sit-down lunch. We will also be hosting a big cricket based lunch and auction in an on-site marquee.

The lunch will include games, comedy, speeches, an auction (cricket and non-cricket based) and possibly Henry Olonga singing!

Tickets for the lunch, including all drinks, are £100 each. Tables are available on request.

Third, as a spectator. Tickets are £10 at the door.

Fourth, buying raffle tickets for electrical goods/booze and cricket memorabilia.
