2008 fixtures announced

 

With the New Year approaching, Lashings World XI Financial Director John Paton gave us all something to smile about as he announced the current fixture list for 2008. He said "This is very much at an early stage at the moment and is always subject to change, however it's already looking exciting and is really whetting my appetite for the season to come."

After the Abu Dhabi tour in February, the Lashings World XI season is currently set to kick off against a DSR Sports XI in Halifax on 26th May (Spring Bank Holiday Monday), then sets off around the country to places as far afield as Newcastle, Ipswich, Telford, Bristol and even a match at Northop Hall in Wales before finishing with a two day Beach Cricket tournament in Weymouth on 4th-5th September.  

There are still spaces available for any teams who wish to play against the Lashings World XI in 2008 but spaces are filling up fast, so call John Paton on 08704 606561 to reserve your chance to play against some of the greatest cricketers the world has ever seen.
