Folb in remission once more

 

Following a battle against cancer that has lasted three years and involved numerous bouts of radiology and chemotherapy, not to mention a series of complex operations, Lashings World XI Chairman David Folb has just been given the good news that he is currently in remission - in his own words, he's been "given the all clear". He received this news from eminent Harley Street oncologist Dr Martin Leslie.

"It has been a difficult three years, especially the chemo part, but I cannot tell you how relieved I am to be given the all clear". said Folb. "I have nothing but praise for all the staff at the cancer clinic I attended, especially Martin Leslie who is a thoroughly decent bloke... despite being an Arsenal supporter!"
