Lashings still head to Colwall

From the Worcester News, 26/7/07

COLWALL'S long-awaited game with the Lashings World XI is still scheduled for tomorrow despite the bad weather (2pm).

Club chairman Gary King said: "Despite the floods last Friday, the ground is in great condition. We could have played last Sunday if the opposition could have got to the Malvern Hills area!"

The likes of Gordon Greenidge, Alvin Kallicharran, Chris Harris and Hashim Amla should turn out.

Gates open at 10.30am with a Barmy Army match against a HCB Chairman's XI taking place at 11am.

Worcestershire CCC members can gain half-price entry on production of a valid membership card.

Standard entry will be £10 for adults and £5 for children.
