Countdown to Lashings underway

It is now less than eight weeks until the cricketing stars of Lashings return to Hastings in Twenty20 action.
The Lashings World XI will showcase their scintillating skills on Thursday August 7 against Hastings Priory CC and Bexhill CC in the 1066 Sporting Club Cricket Challenge.

A day of big-hitting excitement will begin at 10.30am with Lashings against Bexhill, then at 1.30pm it will be Hastings versus Bexhill before concluding with Hastings and Lashings at 4.30pm.

Lashings have made five previous appearances at Horntye Park Sports Complex between 2002 and 2006, on each occasion facing Priory in 35-overs-per-side matches.

Greats of the game such as Shoaib Akhtar, Alvin Kallicharran, Richie Richardson, Courtney Walsh and Mark Waugh have all performed at the Bohemia Road ground.

Admission, which includes a matchday programme, is £10 for adults, and £6 for under-16s and pensioners. Special family tickets (for two adults and two children) cost £25. Tickets will also be available on the gate on the day.
